Who we are
sinakdesign.com, the chat on this site and the Sinak Design Firm project line are run by Sinak Design Firm, LLC, a Missouri limited liability company at Lake of the Ozarks (“Sinak Design Firm”, “we”, “us”). When you use the chat on this site
The chat on our Start your project page is an AI assistant that asks a few questions about your project, so the right person on our team can get back to you. We keep:
- What you send in the chat, and the assistant’s replies.
- The details you give us, such as your name, your phone number or email, and what you tell us about your home and your project.
- When the conversation took place, and technical details such as the approximate location (city or region) that our providers work out from your connection.
We use these details to call or email you back about your project. Giving your number in the chat does not sign you up for text messages.
When you open one of our spec books
If we shared a project’s spec book with you, a question you type into “Ask about this book” is sent to our technology provider so it can find the answer in that book.
When you text our project line
The Sinak Design Firm project line, (number coming soon), answers questions from people working on our projects. How people join it is on the project line page. For the project line we keep:
- Your mobile number, your name, and the project or projects you are working on with us.
- Your text message consent: how you gave it, when, the wording you agreed to, and, if our team recorded it for you, who recorded it.
- The messages you send and our replies, with the time of each.
- A record of a STOP request, so we do not text you again.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties. They are used only to run the project line.
When you browse this site
- Vercel Web Analytics counts the pages people visit.
- PostHog measures how the site is used and may record sessions: a replay of what appeared on the screen and where you moved, tapped and scrolled. What you type into a box on this site is hidden in those recordings, and we do not link a recording to your name or contact details.
- We may also use Google Analytics to measure which pages are visited and where visitors come from.
These tools can store an identifier in your browser. Most browsers let you clear it or block analytics.
Why we use it
- To get back to you about your project.
- To answer questions about our projects by text, and to pass a question to our designers when the spec book does not cover it.
- To keep this site working and to improve it.
Who handles it for us
We do not sell your personal information. A few service providers handle it on our behalf, only to run what is described on this page: the company that hosts this site, the technology provider that runs our chat, spec books and project line, the AI model provider that writes the chat’s and the project line’s replies, the provider that sends and receives our text messages, and the analytics providers named above.
How long we keep it
We have not set an automatic deletion period. Until we do, we keep this information until you ask us to delete it. We always keep a record of a STOP request, so we never text you again after you opt out.
Asking us to delete it
Email Lindsey@upstageddesign.net or call (660) 287-6771 with the name or the phone number you gave us, and we will delete your chat conversations and your project line messages. To stop texts at any time, reply STOP to the project line.
Changes
If we change what we collect or who handles it, we will update this page and the date at the top. Our terms cover the rest of how this site and the project line work.
